The Show Did Go On.
February 14-16, 2014
Friday & Saturday 10-5
Phyllis Hoffman and Jim Hodges were the chairs for the 2014 Antique Show & Sale. They went to many shows to find the best dealers and are proud to say that the New Bern facilities are the best they have seen.
This First Class Show and Sale featured over 40 dealers with a wide selection of wonderful furniture, carpets, silver, jewelry, cut glass, maps, prints, toys, & vintage linens and clothes.
We had Restoration Service Providers (art restoration, home inventory specialists, watches and clocks and silver restoration) on hand to help patrons with repairs of your antiques.
And on Saturday and Sunday, we had our version of the Antique Roadshow, where experts helped attendees understand what treasure they had in their attic and what it might be worth. This service was free with normal admission, but limited to two items each. These experts can value books, maps, quilts, military/civil war and general antique items.
We also had our Your Choice Raffle featuring a plethora of great packages of certificates for restaurants, helicopter rides, gourmet dinners in private homes and, that old favorite, cash.
Tickets were $7 in advance, $8 day of the show, and good for all three days.
