New Bern's Farewell Brunch, April 26th. A southern banquet greeted guests and the President at Alice and Hubie Tolson's home.

President Washington greeted visitors as stood near the famous Treaty Tree of New Bern.
Mayor Leech welcomed the President at Union Point Park, met him from brunch, and escorted him to his departure on the Ada Mae.

As the brunch ended, the President said goodbye to his guests and hostess, Alice Tolson (shown clapping).
